What a gift it is to have the Himalayan Institute Retreat center within just a couple of hours from Philadelphia and New York City! And to have a center that offers a reasonably priced option to other retreat centers of comparison.
When I made the commitment to book the center, I was told this is the first Mother and Daughter specific program for HI. This made me even more excited that young girls would be able to have this memory of being the first to visit with their mamas and take part in programming. To comprehend what it means to retreat.
The accommodation costs for 2 night/3 day (made directly with HI), for two people is $220. This includes room and meals, but can vary depending on if you want a room with private bath, etc. Accommodations also include a 7am yoga class, a 5pm yoga class, mediation room open during specific hours, amazing vegetarian meals served in the cafeteria, hiking trails, and last but not least a place to unwind and connect with your daughter.
Mother and Daughter for Creative Wellness Programming
The program cost is $75 per person
Includes creative wellness programming for mothers and daughters, an afternoon of child-free time, (options for you to book your massage with the Pur Rejuv Center on the campus is available - separately), a Chai and Cookie gathering, a Saturday evening campfire and a yoga class specifically for the group and a gift bag to take home.

Welcome! I'm excited to have you and your daughter join in the retreat at the Himalayan Institute this fall!
To book the Autumn Mother and Daughter Retreat, you will need to reserve space and register here for the actual retreat. You will be required to pay a $35 non-refundable deposit to hold your space. After registration you will be sent a contract within 24hrs to complete. Total fees for the spring retreat must be paid in full by February 24th.
For accommodations and meals, you must go through the Himalayan Institute. They are helpful and it is rather quick.
To make reservation accommodations, please call the Himalayan Institute directly 800.822.4547 X1. You may not be able to get some of the information you need while booking online. For instance, children under 13 years-old are charged 1/2 price for the meal plan. It is in your favor to call and speak to a lovely human directly.
This is the code to use to make room reservations with HI Guest Services Team. You may call 800.822.4547 X1 to book your room directly. It is important to mention the Groups name. {Moon and Thunder Springtime Mother and Daughter Retreat}. The Booking Code must also be used at this time when booking online through the Himalayan Institutes website's accommodations page.
A deposit of $35 is collected at time of registration. Total fees for the retreat costs must be paid in full by September 5th, 2018. Please read the cancellation and refund policy below.
The Himalayan Institute has it's own refund and cancellation policy. Please be sure to commit to the retreat after learning the policies.

Indigo Nature Arts Himalayan Institute Retreat Cancellation and Refund Policy
In the event of cancellation by the customer, regardless of the circumstance, the following refund fees, minus the $35 deposit, apply. The deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellation more than 8 weeks before due arrival date, 100% refund, minus deposit.
Cancellation 6 to 8 weeks before due arrival date, 75% refund, minus deposit.
Cancellation 2 to 6 weeks before due arrival date, you may use total amount paid towards another retreat (or Moon and Thunder future events) within the calendar year.
Cancellation 2 weeks or less before due arrival date, 0% refund. (Due to the limited spaces in the retreat and timing of the retreat, cancelling last minute puts the financial burden on Indigo Nature Arts. As a courtesy, you may use the total amount paid minus the deposit on Mother and Daughter Events throughout the calendar year. * You do however receive a refund from Himalayan Institute on accommodations. PLEASE check their policy for details.)
Due to teacher cancellations or other situations beyond our control, Indigo Nature Arts/ Kim Soles reserves the right to change bookings and shall inform the customer as soon as possible. Alternative arrangements will be offered, refunds including deposit will be distributed, but we do not accept responsibility for any extra costs incurred.
