Fall Mother and Daughter Retreat

Mothers and daughters join an extraordinary getaway to the Himalayan Institute. Back-to-school and work enforce a new schedule and routine. September is a reminder month. The fall retreat offers mothers and daughters a time to set up a self-care routine for the cold days ahead, and immerse in a nurturing, self-loving and fun weekend. Mothers will have the option and time to set up a soothing massage at the Pur Rejuv Center, with extra time to unwind. Daughters tour Moka Origins bean-to-bar chocolate factory before an enchanting forest treasure hunt. A private yoga class and a hike on the lush trails are all part of this weekend of creative wellness. The workshop is facilitated by Kim Soles, the director of Indigo Nature Arts and is part of Indigo’s Moon and Thunder Creative Wellness series. The program fosters exploration of self-care practices. This retreat highlights the significance of the changing of the season and preparing for optimum health during the colder months ahead. A sunset Chai and cookie party, an early evening campfire, exploring the peaceful campus and browsing (or buying if you choose!) at the alluring gift shop will fulfill Moon and Thunder’s Mother and Daughter retreat.
